From August 25 to August 27, 2023, the 2023 Annual Conference of the Chinese Society of Social Psychology was successfully held in Guilin. More than 1,000 experts, scholars and conference delegates from more than 190 colleges and universities, research institutes and related social organizations attended the conference, and the delegates shared wonderful reports around the theme of "Chinese-style modernization and the development and innovation of social psychology".

Fig. 2 "Foreknowledge" Psychology Pre-registration Platform Publicity Booth The "Foreknowledge" psychology pre-registration platform was designed and created by the Pan Beans Library of the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, with the aim of providing psychologists with a time-stamped scientific research document to record the scientific research work and technical details prior to the collection of data, and to reduce the publication bias and p-value manipulation problems faced by academic research, and is dedicated to promoting the openness, sharing and transparency of psychology research. It is committed to promoting the openness, sharing and transparency of psychological research. During the publicity period, many delegates and volunteers came to ask for information about the platform, communicated the idea and practice of pre-registration of psychology research, and expressed their importance and support for open science in psychology. The publicity activities were effective and fruitful. The publicity activities were strongly supported by the Department of Education of Guangxi Normal University.
