In order to implement the Psychology Open Science Suzhou Initiative, to promote the prioritization of the release and quality improvement of psychological research results, and to promote open and transparent academic exchanges, Acta Psychologica Sinica has piloted the open peer review of manuscripts with the help of the Chinese Psychology Preprint Platform (PsyChinaXiv). The process is as follows: 1 When the author submits a manuscript, he/she should fill in the title of the article in the system and indicate "open review" in parentheses after the title. 2 At the final stage of submission, the question "Would you like to submit your manuscript to ChinaXiv at the same time?" will appear, and the system will automatically send the manuscript to PsyChinaXiv. 3 Acta Psychologica Sinica still handles manuscripts according to the regular process. The results of each round of peer review, the authors' responses, and the revised drafts of the papers will be synchronized and made public on the PsyChinaXiv. Manuscripts participating in the open review will be exempted from page charges if they are accepted by the Acta Psychologica Sinica. For manuscripts that are not accepted by the Acta Psychologica Sinica, the published preprints and open peer review content will remain on the PsyChinaXiv and will not be withdrawn. The open peer review is on trial now, and we sincerely look forward to your support and participation!
