Preprint, the new trend in the era of open science

At present, more and more Chinese researchers, especially young researchers, are actively participating in and supporting the release and exchange of preprints.

The team of Dr. Chuanpeng Hu, one of the main leaders of 52brain.com, the world's largest Chinese language brain science forum, has published seven articles on ChinaXiv, and three have been officially published. "Polynomial Processing Tree Model in Social Psychology," Psychological Science, No. 2, 2019; "Bayesian Factor and its implementation in JASP" was published in Advances in Psychological Science, No. 6, 2018. "The Principle and Implementation of Effect size confidence Intervals" was published in Psychological Techniques and Applications, Vol.7, No.5, 2019. In addition, "The Effects of Socioeconomic Status on Brain Structure and Function" has been accepted by the Chinese journal Science Bulletin.

In a previous interview with SciDev.Net, Dr. Hu said that he believes the platform can help colleagues to read more manuscripts and get more feedback from colleagues. At the same time, the constantly updated version is also a very good record for him, but also can let the peers know about the change.
