At present, scientific research paradigm and academic communication mode are undergoing profound changes, and preprint communication based on manuscripts of papers is playing an increasingly important role in the academic communication system in the field of psychology, which has received great attention from the academic community. To further promote the rapid disclosure of research results in the field of psychology, to help researchers more widely draw on the opinions of their peers at home and abroad, to improve the quality of their results, and to accelerate the discovery and selection of high-quality preprints by journals, four institutions, namely, the Chinese Psychological Association, the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Documentation and Information Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Springer Nature, have jointly launched a paper The four institutions, Chinese Psychological Society, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences Literature and Information Center, and Springer Nature, have jointly launched a paper solicitation campaign for researchers and graduate students in China. We welcome all authors to pay attention to this activity and actively participate in it! Details of the activity are as follows: I. Background of the activity In 2016, with the support of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Literature and Information Center built a standardized and reliable scientific research paper manuscript exchange system - ChinaXiv (https://chinaxiv.org/), the pre-release platform for scientific and technical papers of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2018, the Institute of Psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and ChinaXiv jointly established the Chinese psychology preprint platform PsyChinaXiv (http://psych.chinaxiv.org), aiming to support the exchange of preprints in the global psychology community and to continuously promote extensive cooperation with societies and associations, research institutes, universities and journals. In 2022, the Chinese Academy of Sciences Literature and Information Center and Springer Nature entered into a strategic partnership to support the construction of a preprint exchange system (ChinaXiv) in various disciplines, and to take the lead in the joint call for manuscripts between 11 psychology journals under Springer Nature and the Chinese psychology preprint platform PsyChinaXiv. Activities II. Activities Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts to PsyChinaXiv for publication. The 11 Springer Nature journals mentioned above will participate in the open review of preprints, select preprint papers and assist authors in submitting their manuscripts according to their intention. Authors are also welcome to submit their papers directly to the journals or thematic special issues they are interested in after they are published in PsyChinaXiv. During the event, all authors can enjoy more discounts from AJE-SpringerNature's professional language retouching service and have the opportunity to participate in face-to-face academic exchange seminars.
