Abstract: Weight stigma refers to the social stigma to overweight or obese individuals, including discrimination, prejudice and stereotype, which is mainly evaluated by the public and the stigmatized groups themselves. Weight stigma exerts negative and interconnected impacts on individuals’ body, mind and behavior. Currently, there are three main dimensions of weight stigma interventions (i.e., reducing public stigma and conducting physical and psychological intervention on overweight and obese individuals). More theoretical and practical researches in future should be done to reveal the mechanism of effects of weight stigma and develop effective measurements and intervention strategies

Abstract: Mobile Health (mHealth) is a kind of information technology, which aims at delivering health services. First, the electronic health (eHealth) and mHealth were distinguished. Then, through a series of empirical studies, five major theories of mHealth, namely Cognitive Behavior Theory, Social Support Theory, Transtheoretical Model and Stages of Change, Behavioral Learning Theory and Grounded Theory were summarized in the present study. Further analysis found that mHealthto some extent contributed to solving psychological problems, managing physiological diseases, as well as promoting healthy behaviors. However, more evidences are needed to support the efficacy and effectiveness of mhealth. The possible factors and the mechanisms of mHealth interventions should be explored for achieving optimal effectiveness in the future.

Abstract: Researches on positive psychology intervention is fruitful. Content-level and Mechanism-level are two main perspectives to define positive psychology interventions (PPIs). Strategies adopted in PPIs mainly focus on identifying and using positive strengths, noticing and appreciating positive feelings, training and acquiring positive thoughts, and establishing and maintaining positive relationships. Positive thoughts, positive feelings, positive behaviors, need satisfaction and neural evidences function as the possible active ingredients of PPIs. Features of activity, features of person and features of cultural background play the role as moderators which influence the efficacy and effectiveness of PPIs. Future study should integrate both Content- and Mechanism-level to define PPIs, apply both independent and packed PPIs, and follow effective and cost-effective principles.

Abstract: HIV stigma consists of public stigma and self-stigma. The former refers to the public's prejudice, stereotype and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA); the latter refers to the perception of prejudice, stereotype and discrimination from the public, and thus negative self-recognition is formed. The measurement is mainly carried out from the uninfected group and the infected individuals. HIV stigma is widespread in many areas of life such as individuals, families, health care providers, and the media. Public stigma and self-stigma survive together, hindering the effective prevention and treatment towards HIV/AIDS, and undermining social equality seriously. Interventions to reduce HIV stigma not only focus on eliminating prejudice, stereotype and discrimination of uninfected group, and improving the social stigma environment, but also focus on paying attention to improving the mental health and treatment willingness of infected individuals, and improving their quality of life. In addition, HIV stigma intervention studies should focus on strengthening the balance between the infected and uninfected group. In the future, we should conduct an in-depth study on the interaction mechanism, measurement tools, intervention measures, and courtesy stigma from the dual perspectives of the uninfected and the infected groups.
